Great people, I'd luuuurve to meet more of them.

A couple of interesting characters at the office recently. Some new colleagues.

We've got a new chinese middle aged lady temp, supposed to take over me while i'm gone. Before i move the descriptions, i shall quote a few questions she asked me on her first few days of work.

A couple of hours into her first day, she came to my desk to ask me something about some data entry stuff. After she's done, about 30 seconds later she returned "這。。我這坐位要怎麼回去啊﹖"

Second day, first thing in the morning. "小弟我問你啊﹐你懂那電腦怎麼啟動啊﹖" (on the first day, the IT people configured the settings for her, so it was on already.) She freaked out because she pressed the monitor on/off switch many times but still nothing happened.

I really don't have the heart to laugh when she asks me things like that.

And then, there's this guy... who talks like a total puss. Mr faggot is THE talking point in office right now. It's really hard for you to understand in words. I'll try and record his feminine giggles someday and upload it here.. somehow. But in all fairness, he's quite a capable guy. He's a great multitasker i would say. He can shake his bon bon while he walks.

Ah, i just love meeting new people. And i bet NUS will be full of em. Yay. Excited. Yay.
