Well..happy new year. Belated. No entries for the past few days because my damn computer was down. Had to reformat it and reinstall Windows and all those things. Shall back date my story tellings to new yr eve.

Stayed over at wsk's house for steamboat on new yr's eve. Usual activities of mahjong and ps2 after the makan all the way till midnight.. Actually, past midnight. We, of all people, couldn't care less about the countdown to 2005. It was about 00.23 when we paused from our ps2/ mahjong to wish each other happy new year. Bah..what's the 23 minutes difference when people in different parts of the world celebrated new year hours apart from each other?

I experienced all the disincentives of being an adult today. Met with the harsh reality that I'm no longer a child/student, and that it will cost me $24 to dine at Seoul Garden on a weekend. Utterly shocked. Went for ktv at party world after that lousy and expensive meal. KK's got a free room voucher, so I assumed that I'm not gonna pay for anything else. The bill came at $100+ for 8 people. More shocked. The bill happens to be for a compulsory drink, compulsory fruits, compulsory tidbits and yes, compulsory towels. Tried to complain, but the staff pointed at some fine print on the voucher. Crap. Broke for the rest of the month.

Donated another dollar to the tsunami victims. Total contributions so far: $21 + some clothing those volunteer workers reluctantly accepted.
