Aiyah, actually it's not that bad. I would have thoroughly enjoyed it if not for the overpriced admission and ulu location (AND expensive parking!). At least you get to see some tigers and hyenas and ostriches and crocodiles for a change (instead of standard HDB collection of stray cats, stray dogs, crows and lizards). With abit of luck, you may even find a caucasian/jap/korean chio bu tourist asking you for help to take a picture or that cute zookeeper who puts the python around your neck.
Like her..
Well, I've made a list of my favourite animals too haha. (1=fave. I cant get the numbering to go in descending order lah). Sorry the names are not very accurate. See animals only, never remember their proper names!
White tigers from the himalayas, or was it afghanistan? heck.. white tigers, all the same. roar.
Baboons with those real big and red butts. REAL BIG AND RED! think you get what i mean.
- 4m long crocrodiles. No kidding, I was like WTF? too, when i first saw them.
Meerkat. Damn cute squirrel like animal like "scrat" in ice age.
Penguins. Not the cutest I've seen, but i like them no doubt.
- Polar bears. Should have ranked higher, but they were damn dao, hide one corner only let us see backside.
- Golden haired siamese (joking) monkey that dived into a pond to retrieve grapes. Cool. Throw in some gold nuggets and I'll dive in as well..
Kangaroos. Never jump one.. so minus point.
- Elephants and Rhinos. Both never mate like they do in discovery channel.. so minus point.
- Zebras and antelopes. Both never get chased around like they do in discovery channel.. minus point!
Awww...isn't the horsie so cute with her Oakleys?
