Really. It helps not to be fussy haha. Just one day after deciding that $6/h is good enough for me, the agency said there was an opening for admin job at some company called Ghim Li and arranged an interview. Probably never heard of it right? I was damn worried that i will be doing admin work at some mama shop, so I did some background check on this company and realised that it's not as tiny as i thought it was. Though not an MNC, they actually do contract manufacturing for Polo Ralph Lauren! Cooool..
Ok so the interview went well and I get to start work next mon. Woohoo. And btw, I met bang zhong at the lobby before the interview. He was applyig for a job there as well. Small world, or maybe there's just a sudden influx of ORD personnel looming around looking for a job. We had different appointment times and i left before he interviewed, so I dunno if he's got the job. But the HR there said there were more than 1 vacancy so probably we'll be colleagues. Shall see on monday.
But now, I i'm off to play squash with lau and clarence. Laterz.
