Meanwhile, I'm hooked on yet another hongkong serial, 學警雄心.



This show is about life as a cadet in a police academy. The typical 王敏德 aka 飛虎隊 kinda show you might say. Sort of, but instead of a star studded cast, the series featured some starlets on their debut, like 薛(not that pretty) 凱琪. Nonetheless, i think she did an acceptable job portraying a spoilt, wimpy rich girl police cadet. But then again, there may be not much acting involved, just BEING her own tai-tai self, by the looks of it.

Moreover, i think pretty much of the scenes were exaggerated by the producers in a move to impress the audience (whom most have no idea what military/police training is like) Ironically, i think this is precisely the reason why i liked it. Somehow it reminds you of the estacy of looking forward to commissioning, which has sorely been missing for more than a year now.
