RETAILERS of Polly Pocket playsets will be asked to pull the popular girl's dolls from their shelves by the end of the week.
Yesterday, Mattel released a statement saying it would recall 4.4 million playsets worldwide after three children in the United States were hospitalised after swallowing magnets that fell off the toys.
The children swallowed multiple magnets - about 3mm in diameter each - which then stuck together and caused intestinal damage that required surgery.
wtf man. All children in the world go play ps3 lah, no detachable magnets in those.
