to mbs with lurrve

Remember the 50 cents laksas, pepsi cola 1-2-3s, childhood crushes, "A"s you don't really need to study for, school bus rides and so much more! Sometimes you feel so tempted to re-live your primary school days, don't you?

Now think of the morning anthems, fierce and stubborn teachers, uniforms, 50 cents allowance, bullies, hot and stuffy classrooms with 39 other dirty sweaty kids, having to ask permission to go toilet andddd maybeee not.

Maha bodhi school pencil case painting day was cool. Some cheap canteen food, hyperactive kids and OMG yes, pretty cute teachers as well.

This pic is rather meaningful. It reminds me of how things work in a primary 4 classroom. We thought of just having an informal group shot with the kids but the teacher (ok, this is not one of the pretty cute ones) immediatly took charge and spent almost 15 minutes and arranging the kids, lining them up according to height in the back of the classroom for our informal photo. And at the same time, letting loose her pent up frustration and making any child pay with their lives if they dare defy her instructions. So after 15 minutes of hard work, it was say 'cheese, maha bodhi', click, then all hell broke loose again. Thats how teachers err, mould the future of our nation.

As you can see, some of the kids are really talented. They probably paint better than I do. On the other hand, a few just couldn't be bothered and justified their lack of artistic aptitude with a doomsday theme.
oh oh oh i cant wait for the real thing to come!
