Another uneventful DO duty over the weekend. Watched 15 episodes of 'split seconds' in a row. Thats 11 hours and 15 minutes in total. I was quite surprised that i haven't died of some epiletic fits people get from sitting in front of the monitor for long periods of time. What a way to spend the weekend. Another 15 more episodes to go. Saving it for the next duty probably.
The DO taking over me on Sunday was late, as usual. He had to see a doctor due to some infection on his face or something. Yeah right, and he probably need to find his son that was kidnapped by aliens last night too. DOs taking over me on weekends always had a reason to be late. From "overslept" to "bike broke down" to simply uncontactable. I think I havent handed over a single duty on time so far in my time here, and I hate it.
Finally submitted my promotion application today, after getting the relevant people to endorse my IPPT results. Can't wait to get my LTA pay in a few months time, really desperate for cash nowadays. Wonder how I'm gonna survive with zero income from next year April onwards. My plan is to keep fit and to take my IPPT immediately once my birthday comes. Hopefully can get my $400. If I can keep fit, that is..
